Our Cabin

Wandering Soul Cabin is a contemporary country farmhouse harmoniously nestled within its natural surroundings, only minutes away from Downtown Sawyer and Cherry Beach. This inviting cabin has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The primary suite features a king-sized bed, French doors that open onto a deck overlooking the backyard, with a path right to the pond, canoe and community garden.

Indoors, a fireplace adds warmth, while an outdoor fire pit beckons for cozy evenings. A spacious loft upstairs provides an ideal spot for leisurely lounging or reading sessions. Your comfort is assured with provided linens, towels, an Alexa device, and a Fire Stick for entertainment.

The culinary enthusiast will delight in the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with cookware, recipes, an espresso machine, coffee, tea, and a convenient breakfast bar. Stay seamlessly connected with the cabin’s WiFi while enjoying your meals or engaging in digital entertainment.

Whether your inclination is to unwind on the screened side porch, luxuriate on a private beach, or indulge in local shopping and exquisite dining, our cabin accommodates your desires. Nature enthusiasts can embrace the outdoors by fishing in the well-stocked community farm pond just beyond the screened porch – a tranquil spot to reel in some Bass.

Following a day of sun-soaked beach adventures, relish the satisfaction of a cold beer and delectable cuisine. A short walk or bike ride of less than half a mile takes you to Downtown Sawyer, where Greenbush Brewery offers gourmet BBQ and a variety of craft beers on tap. Should you wish to cook, the cabin’s modern kitchen and adjacent propane grill provide all the necessary tools. Don’t fret if your ingredients are missing – local organic grocery stores are at your disposal.

Should the weather take an unexpected turn, our cabin keeps boredom at bay with a selection of card games, board games, books, magazines, DVDs, and access to streaming platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Hulu, and Disney Plus on the smart TV. Yoga enthusiasts will find solace with provided mats and a block in the master bedroom closet.

For the adventurous at heart, the nearby Warren Dunes offers six miles of trails and stunning views of Lake Michigan. Weko Beach, just eight minutes away, tempts with sunsets and live music. Seeking solitude? Cherry Beach, a mere four miles distant, provides a serene retreat.

Venture a bit further to New Buffalo, only 12 minutes away, for shopping, dining at The Stray Dog, and a taste of local brews at Beer Church Brewing. Paddleboarding or kayaking on the Galien River is the perfect way to offset indulgence.
